Donna (no middle name) Ko is a curious person by nature and a copywriter by education. Born and raised in the area by the Bay in California, she spent her younger years caring about fashion, small dogs & making pretty posters with words. So much, she was guilty of several wardrobe changes a day (even in elementary school) at the same time of caring for her two Chihuahua’s, Taco & Bell (seriously) all while making her very first PSA print ad for D.A.R.E in the 5th grade. After learning some life lessons like fashion requires deeper pockets & puppies don’t live forever, she later moved down to Los Angeles—not for Paris Hilton or fashion, but to attend Otis, College of Art & Design. After receiving her BFA in Communication Arts for advertising & copywriting in 3 years, she happily/accidentally bought a one-way ticket to New York City. Like Jesus (but totally not like Jesus), on her 3rd day in New York, she was copywriting at TAXI NYC.
Donna now lives in Brooklyn and is still in touch with her curious side.
